What's in the box?

A flat black lid sitting flush in a desk. Nothing on the surface, no cables, no extension block taped underneath, no power strip trailing to the wall.
Then you press it, and it rises.
Inside are the sockets, the USB ports, the Type-C, and on some models a wireless charging pad. That is the entire idea: everything an office desk needs to be powered, hidden inside the desk until the moment someone needs it.

The problem they actually solve
Walk through most UAE offices and the desks tell the same story. An extension block on the floor with six plugs fighting for four sockets. Laptop chargers threaded through cable trays that were full two years ago. A power strip taped to the underside of a meeting table, and whoever sits at the far end asking if anyone has a spare charger.
It is not only untidy. Cables under a desk are a trip hazard, they make cleaning slower, and in a meeting room they make the room look unfinished no matter how good the furniture is.
The fix is not more cable trays. It is putting the power where people actually sit.
How a pop-up socket works
The unit sits inside the desk, in a circular or rectangular cut-out. When closed, the lid is flush with the surface — you can put a laptop on top of it.
When it opens, the socket block rises above the desk. Universal plug sockets, USB-A, Type-C, all at hand height instead of at ankle height.
Push it back down and the desk is flat again. No visible power, no dangling cable, nothing to clean around.
Automatic or push-button
Two mechanisms, and the choice usually comes down to the room.
Automatic, touch-sensor — tap the tempered glass top and a motor raises it; tap again and it sinks flush. The glass top doubles as a 15W wireless charger, so a phone left on the closed lid charges while the ports below run a laptop. Anti-pinch protection stops the motor if a finger blocks the lid, and there is an LED ring around the edge.
Suits reception desks, boardrooms and client-facing spaces — anywhere the desk itself is part of the impression.
Push-button, dampened — press and it rises smoothly on a damped mechanism; push down and it is flat. Universal sockets plus USB and Type-C, in silver or matte black, sealed against water and dust spills, rated 16A at 110–240V.
Suits open-plan desks, hot desks and anywhere the unit gets used many times a day. Fewer moving parts, nothing to fail.
Fitting them into desks you already own
You do not need new furniture. Both units fit a cut-out in an existing desk.
The automatic model fits a 100mm or 120mm standard grommet hole — the same size as the plastic cable ports most office desks already have. If your desks have those, the hole exists and the plastic grommet simply comes out.
Both run on 220–240V, which is UAE mains, and both need wiring to a supply beneath the desk. That is an electrician's job, not a plug-in.
For a full floor it is worth doing them together — one visit, all desks, rather than one at a time.
Adding network, telephone or HDMI
The push-button model can be configured with LAN, telephone or HDMI ports alongside the power.
That matters in two rooms. In a meeting room, HDMI in the table means presenting without a cable draped across it. At a desk, a LAN port means a wired connection without a cable running to a wall plate.

Common questions
Will it fit desks we already have?
In most cases. The automatic model fits a 100mm or 120mm grommet hole, which is the standard cable port already cut into most office desks. For solid tops without a cut-out, one needs to be drilled.
Can we add network or HDMI ports?
Yes, on the push-button model. LAN, telephone and HDMI are configured per order, so specify what you need before ordering.
What happens if someone spills a drink on it?
The push-button model is sealed against water and dust spills, and the automatic model has a waterproof glass top. Neither should be submerged, but a knocked-over coffee is what they are built for.
