About this floor box

This floor box puts four 13A sockets and two data openings into the floor, so power and network cables come up through one neat, flush outlet instead of trailing across the room. The lid closes over everything when you are not using it, and cables leave through slots in the lid.

Four 13A sockets, ready fitted

The sockets are the 13A UK standard type used in the UAE, so normal plugs fit. Two sockets sit on each side of the box, with the data openings between them.

Two openings for data

The centre section has two keystone compatible openings. They take keystone jacks such as network, HDMI, or USB, which you buy separately.

Flush lid with a click lock

The low profile lid sits level with the floor and closes with a click lock. Cable slots in the lid let leads exit while the lid is closed.

Galvanized steel base

The base is galvanized steel with several knockouts for conduit entry, and the lid is ABS plastic.

Can I close the lid with plugs in? Yes, cable slots in the lid let leads pass through while the lid is closed.

How deep does the floor need to be? The box is 75 mm high, so the floor needs a recess at least that deep, plus room for conduit entering through the knockouts.
