Travertine Pendant Light - Walnut Band, 17cm, E27

A cylindrical travertine shade wrapped with a walnut wood band, 17 cm across and 12.5 cm tall. The stone gives a soft, ambient glow rather than a hard, direct light; this is a fixture built to be looked at as much as lit by.

Travertine and walnut

Natural travertine, cut rather than moulded, with visible pores and bedding lines carried through unpolished. The walnut band wraps the stone and adds a warm contrast against it. No two shades are identical, expect variation in texture and tone between pieces if you order more than one.

The light

Standard E27 socket. Bulb not included;any standard E27 fits, LED, filament or incandescent. Not dimmable, and there is no colour-changing function on this fixture.

Use a warm 2700–3000K bulb. Cool white fights the warmth of the stone and the walnut.

Hanging height

The 150 cm cord is adjustable on installation.

• Over a dining table: 75–90 cm from the tabletop to the bottom of the shade
• Bedside: hang low enough that the light falls on the bed, not the wall
• In a row of two or three: space evenly and stagger the heights slightly for visual interest rather than hanging them all level

Where it works

Bedside, a small dining table, a breakfast bar, or in a row over a counter or island. Suits Japandi, wabi-sabi and natural-material interiors.

This is hardwired. It connects to a ceiling point, not a plug, and installation should be done by a qualified electrician with the power isolated.

Natural stone varies. Expect differences in texture and tone if you order more than one.

Indoor only. IP20 means no moisture protection.

Cleaning: wipe with a dry cloth. Travertine is porous — avoid water and never use chemical cleaners.
